The North Thousand Islands Sub-district Ismail, monitored arrangement efforts in Harapan Island and Kelapa Island urban villages.

He highlighted the abundance of illegal buildings, latrines and bagan apung (lift net) and keramba (floating net cages for fish cultivation) that damaged the aesthetics of the region.

According to him, region spatial planning became the main focus along with the increasingly crowded local and foreign tourist visits after the Thousand Islands set as the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN).

"We focus on structuring territories to create clean and beautiful islands," he expressed.

His party appealed to the building owners without permission and damaged the beauty to conduct the demolition itself, prior to controlling.

"After data collection, we send a letter to the owner to demolish independently, prior to controlling," he stated.
